The summit examined how emerging technologies, including AI and digital systems, are reshaping social progress, while underscoring the need for human-centric and ethical approaches to innovation.
Mr. Vishesh Gupta, Soka Gakkai International Vice General Director and BSG Chairperson, joined the summit as a speaker and took part in a panel discussion titled “The Soul of Impact: Keeping Humanity at the Core of Progress.”
Placing Humanity at the Heart of Progress
The panel explored a central question of our times: How can progress remain human-centred in a world shaped by rapid technological change? Speakers reflected on the importance of ethics, empathy, equity, and cross-sector collaboration in building systems that genuinely serve society.
During the dialogue, Mr. Vishesh Gupta emphasized the importance of ethical decision-making and people-centric approaches to innovation, drawing from Bharat Soka Gakkai’s grassroots work in sustainability, youth empowerment, and value-based education.
The discussion highlighted the need for technology and systems to serve human well-being rather than replace human judgment and connection.
The panel was moderated by Ms. Vasudhara Srivastava, Chief People Officer, AVPN, and also featured fellow panelist Ms. Meera Khanna, Trustee & President, The Guild of Service.`
