The ‘Seeds of Hope and Action’ exhibition was organized by BSG for the students of Department of Development Communication and Extension, Lady Irwin College, Delhi University on 30th March 2022. Around 75 students and faculty viewed the exhibition.

SOHA Exhibition: ‘Role of Youth’ in realizing SDGs

The exhibition is a joint initiative of the SGI and the Earth Charter International and it introduces a positive vision for sustainable living that can contribute to the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Dr Ruchi Gaur, Faculty, shared the opening address on behalf of the College. A group of students from the college presented the panels and elaborated on the need to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) through individual actions. Several examples of the ‘Power of One’ to bring about a great transformation in society, from the exhibition panels, were shared by the students.

The exhibition concluded with an interactive session in which students shared their views and asked various questions on implementation of SDGs at an individual level and on a larger scale.

Department Head, Dr Archana Kumar, thanked BSG for organizing the exhibition and reiterated the message of the panels that passion and energy of students can become the source of great change.
