At St. Joseph’s School, North Point, the BSG formed SDG Club organized its third annual Sustainability Conclave titled Planet Calling. The event brought together neighboring schools, NGOs, and institutions like the Climate Reality Project and the Sikkim Institute of Rural Development. Participants presented their work on sustainable development through models, presentations, and a lively sustainability fair. Competitive events—skits, dance, poster-making, and music—highlighted pressing ecological concerns while offering creative expression.
Ms. Atoshi Bhattacharya, representing BSG, led a fun and engaging game on sustainable buying. It invited students to rethink everyday consumption patterns, proving that youth can drive the shift toward ethical, eco-friendly choices.
The conclave started powerful conversations and joyful action and laid a strong foundation for sustained, youth-led change.
