BSG is proud to host its fifth annual Sustainability Conclave with the theme “Building Resilient Futures: Climate, Communities and Collective Strength.”
At a time when climate uncertainty is affecting communities across the world, the conclave seeks to explore one important question: what truly makes societies resilient?
While resilience is often discussed in terms of infrastructure, technology, and policy, the foundation of a resilient future lies in human behaviour — in the way people consume, collaborate, care for resources, and support one another.
The conclave will bring together thought leaders, practitioners, innovators, and changemakers from diverse sectors to discuss how individuals, institutions, and communities can work together to create a more sustainable future.
Why “Building Resilient Futures” Matters
Today’s environmental and social challenges are deeply interconnected. Climate change, resource scarcity, urban stress, biodiversity loss, and social inequality cannot be addressed through isolated efforts alone.
Building resilient futures requires:
- Rethinking patterns of consumption
- Strengthening local communities and ecosystems
- Encouraging sustainable human behaviour
- Supporting inclusive and scalable solutions
- Building partnerships across sectors
The conclave draws inspiration from Sustainable Development Goal 17, which emphasizes the importance of partnerships in solving global challenges.

The awards span a diverse range of categories, some of which include:
