Roots in Focus – Capture Native Trees and the Biodiversity They Support
Bharat Soka Gakkai (BSG), in collaboration with Nature:re, invites photographers, nature enthusiasts, students, and citizens across India to participate in the National Photography Competition on the ‘BSG for SDG’ Mobile App.
Trees are the silent guardians of our planet, but native species hold a unique key to preserving local biodiversity, restoring ecosystems, and combating climate change. This competition aims to create a nationwide visual movement, documenting, celebrating, and raising awareness about India’s native tree species through the lens of individual action.
Steps to fill out the form in the ‘BSG for SDG’ Mobile App
- Step 1: Download the BSG for SDG Mobile App
- Step 2: Go to the National Photography Competition section on the app dashboard.
- Step 3: Upload a clear photograph of a native tree along with its location and description, then submit!
