The Century of Women Starts with Me: From Awareness to Action
BSG hosted its 6th Women’s Symposium on the theme “The Century of Women Starts with Me: From Awareness to Action.”
At its heart, the Symposium asked one question: how can women remain the protagonists of their own lives, and help others do the same?
Bringing together over 1,000 participants, the event created a space for reflection on how individuals, families and communities can help build a more equal future.
Ms Rashi Ahuja (BSG’s Board of Directors) and Dr. Jaya Rao (Head External Relations, Media & Sustainability in BSG) welcomed the distinguished guests: Ms Revathi, National Award-winning actor and filmmaker; Dr Kalpana Sankar, MD & CEO of Varashakti Housing Finance Ltd and Co-Founder of Hand in Hand India; and Ms Vedika Agrawal, Founder of Yein Udaan.
In her welcome address, Ms Rashi Ahuja nudged us to personally reflect on: “What is the one action I can take? Whose life can I encourage? What change can begin with me?”
